A hardware wallet is a cold storage solution to keep your private Bitcoin and crypto keys safe offline. The BitBox02 Bitcoin-only Edition has a stripped down firmware and only supports Bitcoin. Less code means less attack surface, which further improves your security if you only want to store Bitcoin. The BitBox02 Bitcoin-only will always use only Bitcoin firmware. Nothing else. Unlike other hardware wallets, the Bitcoin-only version cannot be reset to support other coins. The Bitcoin-only firmware is fixed at the factory setting.

The BitBox02 Bitcoin-only Edition is a hardware wallet with radically focused firmware dedicated solely to Bitcoin (BTC). Backups are automatically saved to the included microSD card and the BIP-39 memonic seed can optionally be displayed to be backed up on paper or CRYPTO-CODESAFER .
