Exceptions / items not eligible for return

The 14-day cancellation period does not apply to:

• If the contract relates to digital content and this content is not provided on a fixed data carrier, or if the contract is to be performed immediately and in full by both parties.
• If the contract relates to a service and the contract is to be performed in full by the provider with the prior express consent of the consumer before the cancellation period has expired.
• Flight and train tickets, as well as concert tickets, hotel reservations, car rental bookings, and catering services for fixed dates.
• Perishable goods with a short shelf life, e.g., food or beverages with a short expiry date.
• Goods that are ordered and manufactured by the manufacturer upon the customer's request.
• Goods that are made to customer specifications or are clearly personalized (e.g., a custom-tailored suit).
• Goods or services whose prices fluctuate depending on global markets, e.g., heating fuel for households.
• Services that have been fully performed, such as cleaning a patio, if you have expressly consented to losing your right of cancellation upon immediate performance of the service.
• Sealed audio and video recordings (DVDs) or software programs if you have broken the seal.
• Digital online content such as a song or movie, if you have started downloading or streaming after having expressly consented to losing your right of cancellation by commencing the playback.
• Urgent repairs and maintenance contracts, e.g., requesting a plumber to repair a leaking shower.

Return shipping costs

If you decide to return the product within the 14-day cancellation period, you must bear the shipping and packaging costs.
