With their elegant design and generous use of materials, the THPG switch series evokes a time when an object's form was largely determined by its function, and durability was not a unique selling point but a given. Material thicknesses of up to 13 mm, a steatite body, and durable switching mechanisms, some patented since the early 20th century, set our switches apart from the flood of "vintage" and "retro" imitations. These are new originals, developed in-house and manufactured by long-standing partners in Westphalia and Lower Silesia.
THPG prefers materials that have proven their worth since the beginning of electrification and still offer a number of significant advantages today: porcelain, Bakelite, thermosets, and glass. They reliably insulate high voltages, are heat-resistant and robust, do not yellow, and are easy to clean with common household products.
