We don't just use high-quality materials where they're visible. The visible central insert of our sockets is made of Bakelite, while the underlying body is made of black thermoset plastic. These materials have a long tradition in electrical engineering due to their excellent insulating properties. They are also significantly harder and more temperature-resistant than their thermoplastic counterparts. The connection terminals are classic screw terminals, which, thanks to the large contact area between the wire and the terminal, ensure reliable operation of the sockets even under high loads.
You can choose between different socket models: with or without an integrated shutter (a mechanical closure of the plug contacts for increased protection against accidental contact); with a side or center protective contact; and a Swiss version is also available.
