TABLE LAMP TYPE 113 MIDGARD IN LIMITED EDITION OF 100 PIECES - this timeless table lamp "whip lamp" was designed around 1923 by Curt Fischer. As an exclusive LIMITED EDITION, the MIDGARD TABLE ARM TYPE 113 luminaire is being released in a special version for the 100th anniversary of “steerable light” from MIDGARD.
All parts were carefully researched according to the original design and reconstructed true to the original. The characteristic arch shape of the whip of the version of the MIDGARD TYPE 113, which is limited to 100 copies, is manufactured by Thonet in Frankenberg, the most traditional German manufacturer of tubular steel furniture. Nickel-plating gives important structural parts their metallic sheen. Here, too, the re-edition follows the production method of the original model. Original E27 sockets with porcelain inner parts are used for these 100 copies, they are new parts from old stock (NOS).
The MIDGARD lights are characterized - then as now - by extremely high functionality, perfect craftsmanship and a wealth of ideas. The lights are manufactured completely and including all individual parts in Germany using the old original tools and the original techniques.
This simple and timeless table lamp is often used as an office lamp in the office, studio, shop, showroom, gallery, library, study and living area.
